Fonecta Ltd. will acquire Eniro Oy Finland Ab’s Telephone Directories for the Helsinki and Pirkanmaa regions as well as the internet service Eniro.fi. The right to use the Eniro brand in Finland during a fixed term of three years as well as the Yellow Pages trademark will also transfer to Fonecta as a result of the deal.
For contact information services users, the deal to be closed means that Fonecta’s telephone directory only will be published in the Helsinki and Pirkanmaa regions in 2011. Media clients, on the other hand, will find that there will be no further need to advertise in two telephone directories. Customers will directly benefit in the form of increased valuable business contacts.
On internet directory services, Eniro.fi will be continuing as an independent service alongside with Fonecta.fi. As a result of the deal, internet directory services offered by Fonecta will double their user base.

The purchase price is Euro 10,9 Million. The deal will take force on September 15, 2010. No actions are required on the part of service users or advertisers.
