ED Sweden: Merged site launched under torget.se

On September 10th the new www.torget.se has been launched, with a new design and based on a lot of new functionality. The new site is a merger of the old torget.se and lokaladelen.se sites. All traffic from the old sites will now be directed to the same URL.

The following parts were included in the launched version of the site:

• a new modern and user friendly design using cutting edge technology
• a Super search function which searches through all types of data and which - through an Apptus navigator - displays the most relevant information to the user
• advanced filter functionality which allows users to expand their search to include neighboring cities, municipalities and counties, and which also makes it possible to expand a hit list to include related categories to the search carried out
• a new Product search service including price comparison
• searchable/structured municipality and health care data under company search
• a light white label solution of a travel booking service which can be found under Product search and in the travel category
• People search is improved by "name day" info and interesting facts about names which are displayed in conjunction with the search carried out by the user
• aerial and hybrid maps
